Strategy: Open Innovation
Our mission is to develop a coordinated Acute Care system in San Francisco that reduces costs while improving the health and the care experience of our patients. We do this through a rigorous gap analysis of the Acute Care system focusing on leadership, practice, and technology innovations. We offer this gap analysis through an open innovation paradigm to encourage outside solutions that can then be validated in our Acute Care Test Bed.

Our Engineer and Design partners design solutions outside of the University setting.
These solutions are then evaluated and validated in our three-hospital Test Bed.
